Richard B. Riddick will be back but not once but twice! Yes Vin Diesel has revealed that David Twowy is writing the scripts for two sequels at the moment and that they may be shot back to back. Read on for what else Vin Diesel had to say about the Riddick sequels. “David Twowy right now is writing the scripts. The only question is whether we take a page from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ guys and try to shoot the two chapters at the same time. There are two more in mind,” Vin Diesel told MTV “‘The Chronicles of Riddick’ was presented as a three part trilogy that would answer ‘Pitch Black’ in the same way that ‘Lord of the Rings’ answered ‘The Hobbit.’”
“Everyone knows I love the Riddick character and I’m always working on it,” Diesel asserted. “It just takes five years to make another one because David Twohy and I are so precious about it.”
So what will be next for the Furyan warrior?
“Sooner or later we all end up in the Underverse,” he said then adding in a Riddick-like voice, “Sooner or later.”
Regardless of what anybody says I thought The Chronicles of Riddick was amazing and loved every minute of it so I can't wait to see a sequel or two.
