Ever since I saw the two posters for Red Sonja with Rose McGowan as the 'She-Devil with a Sword' I have been very excited for the film (in more ways than one). Well director Douglas Aarniokoski must be equally excited as he is already dropping hints for a Red Sonja sequel! MTV caught up with Aarniokoski and asked him if there were any plans for a sequel or any other film based on the characters in the same universe. “I mean, if we start to talk about that, I start to give away the third act,” he said. “Yes, let’s just say yes. It’s definitely got franchise written all over it.”
He was also asked about the chance of seeing Conan or Thulsa Doom making an appearance in the films, he responded with “You know, again, I’d love to tell you but I can’t divulge that. It’s a little bit under wraps right now.”
So there you go, want to see a sequel to a film that you haven't even seen yet? Of course you do. Just look at the posters!
