If I had Nicolas Cage's powers from Next then maybe I would have seen this coming. Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in Matthew Vaughn's big screen adaptation of Mark Millar's comic book. Also Aaron Johnson has signed on to play Dave Lizewski, our main hero, and Lyndsy Fonseca will play the object of his affection.Cage will play a former cop who wants to bring down a druglord and has trained his daughter, played by Chloe Moretz, to be a lethal weapon. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was also recently cast to play the film’s villain Red Mist.
The film is being independently financed due to it’s violent content and will shoot this Fall in London and Toronto.
Kick-Ass centers on a high school dweeb who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.
Mmmm....can we all hope we get good Nicolas Cage? You rememeber him don't you? Also Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse seem like very good choices - what do you guys think?
