More casting news for Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards with Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz and Paul Rust joining the film. They join Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak and Samm Levine. Kruger will play German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark, who figures prominently in a plot to sabotage the Nazis. Waltz has landed the role of Col. Hans Landa a.k.a The “Jew Hunter”, Variety reports. It's unknown at this time who Rust will play.
Production is set to begin October 13th in Germany with the film set to premiere at Cannes Film Festival in 2009.
