Looks as though Sony are moving along quickly with this one as they have already signed on writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless for the 'reflash' (hell, I'm sick of the terms reboot and re-imagining) of Flash Gordon. The Hollywood Reporter also reports Sazama and Sharpless are penning the vampire tale "Dracula Year Zero" for Universal and Zack Snyder's "Cobalt 60."
This could make an interesting film, of course the 80s version was cheesy fun (which had a nice DVD Release
recently) but the best thing about that film was the Queen soundtrack. So will there be room for Queen in the new version? Highly doubt it. Flash! Ahhh-ahhhhh!
