When Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans was announced I was speechless. Being a fan of Werner Herzog and of Abel Ferrara and his 1992 film Bad Lieutenant this made no sense to me. Now here's the trailer, and I like the trailer - it feels like a straight-to-DVD late 90s cult film. I still don't understand Herzog’s motives in doing a remake of Bad Lieutenant or why it has that stupid title but maybe we shouldn’t care too much and have a little fun with Herzog and Cage, maybe? Shoot him again, his souls still dancing.So what did you think?
